Founded in 1995 by businessman, certified public
accountant and former Hong Kong securities tribunal
judge Dickson Lee, L&L advised a variety of
international businesses on the logistical and regulatory
implications of conducting business in Hong Kong and
China. Mr. Lee was previously an executive of KPMG in
New York City, and a finance leader with Verizon.
After a number of years helping energy, technology, and
other businesses successfully establish operations in
Hong Kong and China, Mr. Lee - Fluent in Cantonese,
Mandarin and English - took an ownership interest in
coal compressor business Lui Er Kong (LEK), growing LEK
into an industry leader.

Shortly thereafter, newly formed L&L International Holdings acquired controlling stakes in a large wholesale coal
company in Kunming, along with three large mines in the Yunnan province, bringing corporate, financial and
operational expertise and dramatically growing the businesses.
Today, L&L owns and operates a number of coal mines and consolidation and processing facilities in the Far East.
