Lo-Yu Sun, Business Advisor
Mr. Sun was a member of the National Advisory Council of the United States Small Business Administration
(SBA), and Chairman and CEO of The China Harbor of Seattle. Mr. Sun is a successful investor in restaurants
and real estate in the U.S. and is founding member of the Mill Creek Country Club.

David Lam, Business Advisor
Mr. Lam is a Managing Director at WI Harper Group.  He was previously with The Carlyle Group after
spending several years in operating roles at various Silicon Valley-based technology companies.  Mr. Lam
holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management where he was a Merit Scholar and a recipient of the
Patrick G. McGovern Award for Entrepreneurship.  He also earned a MA in Sociology and a BS in Industrial
Engineering from Stanford University.
Joseph J. Borich, Advisor
Mr. Borich is Executive Director of the Washington State China Relations Council, which represents over 160
American corporations - including Boeing, Microsoft, and other Fortune 500 companies - with interests or
holdings in China. Mr. Borich was the American Consul General to Shanghai in the 1990's, and has held a
number of positions within the US State Department.
Mohan Datwani, Business Advisor
Mr. Mohan Datwani was formerly a partner of Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker, a US based international
law firm. He has represented a number of leading global financial and corporate institutions on M&A
projects in China and Mongolia. Mr. Mohan Datwani joined the company as advisor in October, 2011. Mr.
Datwani is admitted as a solicitor in England & Wales and holds an LLB and an LLM from University of
Hong Kong and an MBA from University of Iowa. He frequently travels within Asia, Europe and the US and
speaks fluent English and Chinese.
Professor Hsiao-Ling Shen, Business Advisor
Professor Hsiao-Ling Shen received her degree in Business Administration from National Taiwan
University in 1975 and MBA-Finance from Michigan State University in 1978. She later joined the faculty of
Soochow University, Taipei. Prof. Shen is renowned for her expertise in corporate finance and investment
is invited to sit in the board of directors for five public listed companies. She is well respected in the
financial community in Taiwan for her professionalism and independence.
Jingcai Yang, Business Advisor
Jingcai Yang is a well known leader in the China coal industry with over 30 years of experience, 16 of
those spent with China Shenhua Group Corporation Limited (“Shenhua Group”), the largest coal
producing company in the world. He was formerly the Chief Engineer for the Shenhua Group before
being named Chairman & CEO of Shendong Coal Corporation, a Shenhua Group subsidiary, where he
had full P&L responsibility. Mr. Yang was elected as a Deputy to the Tenth National People’s Congress of
China in 2007. He now acts as Chairman & CEO of Ocean Wide Energy Investment Company in Beijing.
He graduated from Fu Xin Mining Institute in 1977.
Bobby Chao, Business Advisor
Bobby Chao is a founding managing director of DFJ DragonFund I. He has tremendous experience in
technology-focused ventures in China and internationally. His experience was honed through outstanding
operational experience in the semiconductor, hardware and software industries, where he served as both an
entrepreneur and a C-level officer. Mr. Chao was born in China and spent his professional career in the U.S.
and Asia. Mr. Chao was the co-founder and chairman of DragonVenture in 1999 before the founding of DFJ
DragonFund I. He currently serves as chairman and director for several China and U.S.-based companies.
Mr. Chao holds an MS in Physics and in Aeronautical Engineering from Georgia State University and Stanford
University, respectively.
